Gender Equality Plan (GEP)

1. january 2023

This document contains Intoto’s Gender Equality Plan (GEP), a part of our Code of Conduct. The plan was approved by management group 5. January 2023. The document sets out Intoto’s ambition and targets linked to its work to promote gender equality within the organisation. The plan is based on Intoto’s current situation and circumstances as an company focused on water data technologies.

Intoto appreciate the EU’s initiative to strengthen gender equality and diversity in the field of research. In order to maintain our key role in society, deliver the best results, and continue to address the major societal challenges, Intoto requires diversity among its employees’ experience, attitudes and perspectives. We need to attract women to the organisation and make use of the skills and expertise that women represent. These topics are also in focus at Norwegian Equal Opportunities and Anti-Discrimination Act (Likestillings- og diskrimineringsloven).

Current situation

Intoto is a young company, located in a small village of Norway. It’s a real challenge reaching GEP goals. With a small team of around a dusin people, we had 0% women in 2021, 20% in 2022 and back to 0% 2023. Job offers we’ve had out, had 0% women responders. We  will continue our strive to get women as the team grows.

Objectives situation

We belive that a ratio of 25% women to 75% men is appropriate target for organisation in near future. We believe a 50/50 ratio to be unrealistic.

  • Current status (w/m %) : 0/100
  • 3 year goal : 10/ 90
  • 5 year goal : 15 / 85
  • 10 year goal : 25 / 75

Documentation and actions

We till establish a system for yearly reporting of dimensions listet above.
We will basicly do whatever we responsibly can defend to do.
